There are a lot of new folks here (yay!), so let me introduce myself as we’re getting to know each other. One of my favorite things is helping moms who are doing all the things make their lives manageable, under control and even fun! I’m Charissa Pomrehn and I coach moms with nonstop responsibilities who just need a break. I help them make time for themselves, do things they love, and handle hard situations with confidence so they can become the kind of mom (and person) they’ve always wanted to be. Here are a few fun facts about me: 1) I’m fourth generation Japanese American, but as a child I was obsessed with pioneers. I read all the Laura Ingalls Wilder books cover to cover, had my own stash of “old fashioned” dresses for dress-up with my younger sister, pretended to be on the Oregon Trail on the regular, homemaking in a log cabin, churning butter and roughing it until the next trip to the general store. #nerdalert 2) I started on the path to life coaching in kindergarten. I made my first best friend by walking up to her in P.E. class and asking if she wanted to be my friend. Since then, my love of creating deep relationships and making others feel safe to be themselves has only grown. For me, being a self care coach has grown directly from making that first friend on my own. 3) One of the superpowers I use most often as a mom is making dinner with random things in the fridge. Give me broccoli stems, bacon, almond meal, a cucumber, eggs and kimchi and I’ll turn out a killer spread! As a coach I'm committed to helping YOU make something amazing with what you've got, too. I spend a lot of time on Instagram and would love to connect with you there! That’s where I share photos from my real life, self care tips on Stories, and (sometimes) poop jokes from my kids. Your time is precious. Thanks so much for taking time to read. It's because of you that I keep at it, helping moms care for themselves as they care for others. If you have 1 min to hit 'Comment' and let me know a fun fact about you, that would be great! I’ll be sure to respond personally. To helping your everyday mom life feel amazing, Charissa Pomrehn
