FAQ

Do you coach people who aren't moms?

Yes! Recently, more people who don't have kids have been working with me to learn how to figure out what's most important to focus on and take pressure off themselves.  The style of coaching I do can work with anyone who is committed to change. If you're curious about working together but not a mom, I hope you'll reach out for a free intro session to try being coached for yourself. I'd be delighted to learn more about you!

I'm not religious, and I see you've worked with a lot of church groups. Is your coaching practice a safe place for someone like me?

Great question! I started out serving people I was naturally connected to, including Christian moms' groups. But it is my priority that clients of all spiritual backgrounds, ethnicities, gender identities and sexualities feel well-served by working with me. Coaching is naturally client-centered, meaning that our work is guided by YOUR values, not mine.

As word has grown about my work, I've been honored to work with groups like Families of Color Seattle, Asian Counseling and Referral Service, and King County Nurse Family Partnership. These invitations were only possible because they trusted I could work with a diverse audience with care and respect.

I feel like my husband could benefit from what you do. Do you coach men?

On occasion! The bigger question here is whether your husband wants to work with a coach. Coaching is based on the client's initiative. So, it won't work if it's primarily your idea for him. He has to want to be coached! If you float the idea and he's interested, I'm happy to reach out personally to find a time for him to try being coached. Or, you can point him to my Contact form here and see where that leads.

Have a question? I'm all ears.
