With some new faces here (hello!), I thought it might be a nice time for a little introduction - including a *very* convincing reason not to overlook your recycling.
(This will make sense later, I promise.)
That's Greg, 5 days older than me, great at fixing things, and with 1000 times the spatial intelligence than I have. (Ask me how many times I've scraped the right hand side of a car. 😬)
Our kids are 12 (into coding animations on Scratch), 8 (made us a giant zoo painting for Christmas), and 2 (our surprise baby).
I grew up with a younger sister and a gaggle of girl cousins, and never ONCE imagined being the mother of boys.
Growing up in eco-conscious Seattle, I formed my own chapter of Kids for Saving Earth and read books on worm bins.
I can clearly remember throwing my first piece of paper in the trash.
(I was in college).
As you can see from the Instagram post above, I was secretly thrilled that our plastic film (bag) use was so low until I learned a crucial piece of information.
Takeaway: checking in on your recycling can keep you humble (and give you a chuckle, too).
Parents are my jam
I coach parents with nonstop responsibilities who just need a break.
They’re overwhelmed and secretly feel guilty for how they're parenting in the time of Covid (i.e. alllll the screentime).
I help them make time for themselves, do things they love, and handle hard situations with confidence so they can become the kind of parent (and person) they’ve always wanted to be.
That's a little about me - hit 'Comments' below and tell me one thing I don't know about you!
I'd love to hear. :)
