When our first son was born...

I jumped into full-time parenting with both feet.
I loved being a mom. My own mom was a great example of a loving, nuturing mother and I relished playing that role for my boys. But a few years in I got restless. I took some jobs in my original field. I wanted to use my degree but in the end they didn't satisfy. I invested in relationships and communities I cared about. It was wonderful, yet none of it felt very resume-worthy.
I cringed at the question, "So, what do you do?" I was no longer excited to pursue what I thought was my chosen professional path. And the relationships I was excited to invest in didn't seem to get me any closer to understanding my next step in life.
What was I supposed to be doing besides being a mom?
I was thankful for my life, but this question was making me crazy.
What I found was that I had a call that was tailor-made for me and my strengths. BUT, I had to make time for myself to discover what that was! If I hadn't made time for what gave me life, I might have missed my call for this season and certainly would have missed out on being recharged for the journey of motherhood.
Now I am passionate about seeing moms of young kids make time for themselves. I love helping clients remember they are not only a mom, but a multi-dimensional human. And I love helping moms who are already living out their call make space for themselves so they have energy for the long haul.
I make people feel safe, listened to, and put at ease. I can help you figure out why you’re stuck, turn abstract ideas into reality, and break everything down into manageable steps that you can start taking now.

Caring for myself led me to my call, which is why I’m excited about helping you make time to understand who you were made to be and what you are to invest in today.

Self Care Coach |
Outside of coaching...I love getting one-on-one time with friends, long thrift shopping trips, and living close to my extended family (a mile from my sister and 12 minutes from my parents!).
My mom superpowers include laundry folding, turning random ingredients into meals, and being more stubborn than a 5 year old. Born and raised in Seattle, WA, I moved to Los Angeles for college and ended up living the next 13 years in Southern California. I moved back to Seattle with my family in 2013. |
