![]() I noticed something interesting while nervously waiting for election results... One, I did a ton of laundry. Like, so many loads. Two, I suddenly decided I needed to roast a pie pumpkin. Three, I found a few soothing things I could have as much as I wanted of - that never left me with that yuck, I overdid it feeling. What were they? (Don't laugh.) They were drinking hot water... (hey, I told you not to laugh!) election prayer... (hosted daily by my friend and her husband) and KEXP radio... (rolling out thematic tunes like Simon & Garfunkel's America, Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation and You Are Not Alone by Brandon Summers, which felt like a hug in song form). It felt great to have some things that encouraged my heart (or soothed my body) and didn't leave me feeling guilty, over-full or with a hangover.
